Fire Marshal
Training
Premises with a large number of occupants or have areas of
responsibility on various floors within a building(s) would require to
have trained fire marshals, who would oversee / implement fire safety
procedures, prevention, building evacuation and carry out first aid fire
fighting. It may also be necessary to nominate a senior person e.g. a
safety officer or senior manager, to be responsible for all aspects of
fire safety including training, overseeing fire contracts (e.g. fire
equipment maintenance) and record keeping. The "senior person" would
ensure fire drills and fire training is implemented at the correct
intervals.
